We focus on the entire property development value chain – from the pre-development to post-development stages. Our primary goal is to identify and implement impactful property development projects that utilise surplus municipal property assets. These projects are aligned with our strategic objectives and aim to address socio-economic needs.

Access
Investors receive ongoing support through all project phases, with progress closely monitored to ensure successful completion. The department, with support from technical services within the Economic Growth Directorate, collaborates with internal departments to align projects with broader City strategies and enhance project visibility.
Strategic facilitation of property transactions
We collaborate with various internal departments to identify, package, market, and transact on a portfolio of surplus high-impact municipal properties. We also engage directly with investors to facilitate seamless transaction processes. We lead and consult with various external professional teams to assist with the packaging and disposal of the properties in our portfolio.

Athlone Stadium - Portion of Remainder Erf 32604 Cape Town - The project aims to optimise the Athlone Stadium through mixed-use (MU) development to drive economic, social, and cultural growth by leveraging the stadium’s surrounding land parcels.
Portion 9 Paarl Farms 732 - According to the City's Northern District Integrated Spatial Development Framework (CTSDF), the subject property is designated as potential industrial development area.
